Mezquita were a Spanish rock band that released one record, Recuerdos de mi tierra (1979). The Gnosis community, having rated more than 700 Spanish records, currently holds it as the best Spanish record ever released. It is a mix of flamenco-rock and progressive rock that's energetic, powerful and melodic from start to finish.

They released a second album, Califas del rock, in 1981.
