Description
English: Mežotne palace (Mežotnes Pils) in Mežotne, Latvia. Built from 1797 to 1802 by architect J. George Adam Berlic after plans by Giacomo Quarenghi (1744-1817). The building was partially destroyed during the world wars and later restored.
Deutsch: Der Mežotne-Palast (Mežotnes Pils) in Mežotne, Lettland. Gebaut in den Jahren 1797 bis 1802 vom Architekten J. George Adam Berlic nach Plänen von Giacomo Quarenghi (1744-1817). Das Gebäude wurde in den Weltkriegen teilweise zerstört und später wiederhergestellt.
