Talk:Mexican American Political Association

[edit] LAT
According to the LA Times article by Ruben Salzar, MAPA's president in 1969 was Abe Tapia. ("Mexican-Americans Threaten Action for Movie, TV Jobs" January 17, 1969), in Border Correspondent. I'm not sure how to reconcile this info with what is already in the article.
Also there was disorganization in the 80s, which is not yet mentioned in this article.--Rockero 19:12, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Presidential Discrepancies
Mapa's Web site has a far different list of the organization's past and current presidents. Nativo Lopez is the current president, yet for some reason this Wiki lists Al Castaneda. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.226.57.23 (talk) 19:42, 4 May 2007 (UTC).
