Mexican states coloured by HDI as reported in the UN Mexico 2004 Report at [1].

  • Dark green: HDI greater than 0.80
  • Light green: HDI between 0.75 and 0.80
  • Orange: HDI between 0.70 and 0.75

The Federal District, usually reported as a separate division with the highest HDI (superior to 0.88) is grouped with the dark green states.
