This is a generic way to link metro stations (or any other stations, for that matter) to preceding and following stations. This only works for stations with only one connection (metro line etc) - for more than one connection, see Template:Metro station2. Example from Siilitie metro station:

Preceding station: Herttoniemi

Helsinki Metro stations

Following station: Itäkeskus
