With the Westlink M7 now open I have noticed a few signage changes. The section of Pennant Hills Rd from the M2 Hills Motorway to Marsden Road seems to be intermittently signed at Metroad 6. I have also noticed that Metroad 7 seems to have been decommissioned. Does anyone know if there are plans to extend Metroad 6 along the old Metroad 7 route from Marsden Road up to the M2? Thanks to anyone out there who can update this info! --Daveb 06:37, 4 January 2006 (UTC)

Removed the wierd reference to 'the Nic Lepouris Highway' because that's certainly not what it's called. StaticSan 04:16, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Some help regarding metroad 7 and 6 on Pennant Hills Road

The M7 motorway is part of the M2 motorway (M2/M7) as well west of the the Pennant Hills Road interchange to Abboit Road in Seven Hills, the Metroad 7 is still there and has NOT been 'decommisioned' from the F3 freeway to the M2/M7/Pennant Hills Road interchange. The Metroad 2 has been extended to the Old Windsor road, half-diamond interchange (for an extra 900m of motorway grade road). The Metroad 6 has been extended a further 3.7 km to the M2/M7/Pennant Hills Road grade-seperated interchange from Masdon. The M7 motorway is the current Metroad 7 while south of the Pennant Hills Road/M2/M7 interchange the Metroad 7 has been 'decommisioned' all the way to the Cross Roads and 8 lanes (4 on each side) are provided there where the M5/F5/Camden Valley Way meet south for about 5 km to the Brooks Road half-diamond interchange. I hope that has cleared things up for you, My pleasure.
