There is no indication that metro is "the" leading supermarket chain in cairo, let alone egypt. While there are many outlets in cairo, the appearance of other hypermarkets like Carrefour and Spinneys have no doubt dwindled metro's customer base - especially since they have not responded to the savings offerred by these newer larger stores.

It should be changed to "a large supermarket chain" ommitting the word "leading". IMO this article needs to be cleaned up, and be unbiased.Wmasoud 16:38, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
