HISTORY
The Metropolitan Hospital and the College of Nursing is owned by the United Doctors Service Corporation. The four (400)-bed capacity is situated in the easily accessible and highly populated area of Masangkay Street, Sta. Cruz in Manila. The hospital has been in operation since 1968, complete with facilities for the care of patients. In order to meet the demands of the hospital for nurses, the College of Nursing came into existence in 1976. Since then, it has been in the path of producing quality graduates. Our graduates have proven themselves worthy not only in the Board Examinations, but also competent as nurses in the country and abroad. In fact, there were evaluations that MHCN got 100% passing in the Board Examination and in 2004 Nursing Board Examination, it ranked 12th in the overall performance of the colleges in the country. Many changes have taken place since 1976. The college which was formerly located only at the 7th floor of the hospital is now located from the 7th to 12th floors of the Medical Arts Building. In 2005, the hospital was officially renamed to Metropolitan Medical Center. What remains unchanged is the goal to produce quality graduates. This is the pride of the Metropolitan Hospital College of Nursing
