Metrobus is a public transportation system in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. Operations are overseen by a committee known as The St. John's Transportation Commission, which consists of six members from various areas of the community.

The Metrobus system offers 17 routes. Routes travel around the Metro St. John's area including such regions as Kilbride, Goulds, and Mount Pearl and service major destinations including the Avalon Mall, Village Shopping Centre, Memorial University of Newfoundland University Centre, Confederation Building, CONA, Marine Institute, Mile One Centre, and Downtown. The service hours vary with each route. Routes are operating from Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 12:30am, Saturday 6:00am to 12:30am, and Sunday from 8:00am to 8:30pm. The transit System has been in place since 1958.

Metrobus changed their route system on June 25th, 2007 and several routes were improved on October 15th, 2007. The new routes can be viewed here.

Metrobus currently operates a fleet of 65 buses. Below are the following models in use as of January 2008.

  • 1987, 1989, 1990, 1991, and 1992 MCI Classic 25 in use
  • 1998, 2001, 2007, 2008 Nova Bus LFS 19 in use
