Metring David is a Filipino comedian, famous for her big feet as called by her colleagues.

Born in 1926, she first appeared not as a comedian but in a drama Malapit sa Diyos (Near to God]] and Walang Hanggang) both under Lebran Pictures.

On that same year she was included in the comedy film entittled Babaing Kalbo starring Eleanor Medina.

She made movies in other film outfits LVN Pictures, Galawgaw a Nida Blanca movie, Fremel Pictures and portrayed a small role in Sapagka't Mahal Kita (Because, I Love You)to name a few.

In the years that followed, Metring David rose to popularity as a comedian not in the 50s but in the 60s where she made 3 dozens films and a lot of tv appearances.
