Metoposauroidea was an extinct superfamily of Temnospondyli, that lived from the Middle to Upper Triassic in North America, Europe and North Africa. They consisted of the family Metoposauridae. Genera belonging to this family were Apachesaurus, Dutuitosaurus, Koskinonodon (Buettneria), Metoposaurus.
