Methocarbamol (trade names Robaxin, Robaxacet, and Robax Platinum) is a central muscle relaxant used to treat skeletal muscle spasms. It is structurally related to guaifenesin, and produces guaifenesin in the body as a metabolite.
A combination of methocarbamol and aspirin is marketed as Robaxisal.
