MeteorCity

MeteorCity Records is an American record label based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, founded by Jadd Schickler and Aaron Emmel. It actually began as an online store. With the release of a compilation showcasing young unsigned Kyuss-like bands entitled Welcome To MeteorCity, it become a label focusing on what became the stoner rock scene. MeteorCity is known for being the launchpad for many of the first bands in the stoner rock scene, including side projects from members of well-known bands. The Atomic Bitchwax featured Monster Magnet guitarist Ed Mundell. Hermano featured former Kyuss frontman, John Garcia. The Hidden Hand and Spirit Caravan were led by Obsessed/St. Vitus guitarist, Scott "Wino" Weinreich. Nebula featured founding Fu Manchu members Eddie Glass (guitar) and Ruben Romano (drums).
