Metal Slug 7 (メタルスラッグ 7, Metal Slug 7^?) is a run and gun video game for the Nintendo DS in the Metal Slug series. It was announced in the September 2007 issue of Famitsu^[2] and marks the first game in the main series that will be released without an arcade version. The game will have the same set of characters in Metal Slug 6. So far, two new vehicles known as the "Slug Truck" and the "Slug Gigant" have been announced. Slug Truck will work similar to the Metal Slug while the Slug Gigant is a giant heavy robot capable of massive firepower. The game will also feature the return of "Combat School Mode" which was originally from Metal Slug X.
