Metacheiomys is an extinct genus of mammal from the Mid Eocene of what is now Wyoming.
It was a 45 cm (1 ft 6 in) long creature that bore some resemblance to a mongoose. It had long claws and an armadillo-like skull. Metacheiromys and its relatives are thought to be related to pangolins.
