- Most of these go against the typical Wikipedia convention to disambiguate articles by using parentheses after the article name, and discussion on WikiProject Astronomical objects has come to the view that the format should be Messier #. Please, don't quote NED's photographic (blue) magnitudes. They are taken in different bandpass and they don't correspond to the visual magnitude which is taken at 500-550nm wavelength. If it says visual magnitude then make enter visual magnitude. No hard feelings, I'm just allergic to wrong informations.
