I just want say:

1. The person who wrote the parts about behavior, dress code and student union is absolutely brilliant!

2. I graduated from Ateres Yaakov 10 years ago. I can personally attest that the behavior, dress code and student union (GO) portions of this article accurately represent our experiences and feelings (and humor!) from our High School days.

3. The only part that I disagree with is the college part. In my four years their I never encountered any tangible opposition to going to college. Perhaps things have changed since 1997. Nevertheless, it is still a hilariously funny piece and I'm glad that it was written.

4. I changed the Knitted Yarmulka bit from "absolutely acceptable" to "absolutely unacceptable". An egregious editing error.

Thank you for the nostalgia.

Asher

This page is horribly non-NPOV, and entirely accurate. I hope no one ever "fixes" it.

[edit] Page was deleted

Little did the admin who deleted the page realize that all of the history is saved so thankfully this is back. -one of those who never graduated in 01.

The admin (me) didn't delete the page, merely those parts which were unsourced, unverifiable and unencyclopedic. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a forum to get your own back on your old school. If you wish to exchange stories with alumni, there are plenty of free webhosts out there: however, Wikipedia is not the place for it, and if you continue to abuse Wikipedia facilities you may be blocked from editing.
