Messi, Naxos

The Messi, on Naxos Island, is mountainous village that belongs in the municipality Drymalj'as of Naxos, Greece.

It's name, more probably, is owed by the make that it is found in the means of distance Kwmjaki's and north-eastern coasts of Naxos. In the ancient times the Messi depended on the community of Skadoy'. In 1955 had roughly 180 residents. At the inventory 2001 it numbered 116 residents.
