Meshkinshahr (Persian: مشگين شهر; also known as Meshkin Shahr or Meshkin-Shahr) is a historic city in Ardabil province, Iran, near the mountain of Sabalan and the coast of the Caspian Sea.

The city is well-known for its Persian rugs and its mineral springs. Iran's first geothermal power plant was constructed in the city.
