"MESSAGE / PERSONAL" is Aya Ueto's fourth solo single and first double a-side single. "MESSAGE / PERSONAL" peaked at #10 selling 18,002 copies its first week. "MESSAGE" was used in a commercial for Kaou's "8×4" deodorant powder spray while "PERSONAL" served as ending theme to the anime Konjiki no Gash Bell!!. "MESSAGE" is an Aya's favorite song to sing live. The single was released simultaneously with her first live tour and her first feature film, "Azumi".
