As the world's seventh most popular site, Wikipedia is subject to many people who think it is a social networking site, an advertising service or a free web host. It is not. We get inundated with piles of crap each day. This includes "articles" on random people, the things they made up one day, garage bands, websites, companies and organisations that encyclopedia readers don't care about; vanity; spam; nonsense and dreaded vanispamcruftisement. I feel it's my responsibility to help get rid of such "articles".
