Notes on use
The MerckManual and MerckHome templates helps markup links to respectively the Professional Edition and Home Edition of the Merck Manual of Diagnosis and Therapy medical textbooks.
3 parameters are required, with options (to maintain backwards compatability) for a 4th for page number and 5th for alternative displayed text.
- Section number
- Chapter number
- Topic letter
- Page number
- Optional title text
Example for the skin condition Folliculitis:
Markup {{MerckManual|10|119|f}} Giving 10-119f. at Merck Manual of Diagnosis and Therapy Professional Edition The new fifth parameter allows: Markup {{MerckManual|10|119|f||Folliculitis}} Giving Folliculitis at Merck Manual of Diagnosis and Therapy Professional Edition
On the home edition example using a page number:
