[edit] Time Range Addendum

So, if the African material is now placed within Libycosaurus, does that mean that L's time range extends into the Pliocene, or not?--Mr Fink (talk) 21:51, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

  • There's a range chart in Merycopotamus reference 2 (PDF) that includes Libycosaurus. Based on that chart, it looks like Libycosaurus only makes it into the late Miocene. It may be a situation like Dissopsalis where what was early Pliocene is now late Miocene. --Helioseus (talk) 22:01, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
