I sense some personal bias in "like to be separated from others". Perhaps, because the community was once a township, it can be said that citizens are still very proud of their distinctive history and thus still refer to their community as Merritton. Trappy 17:47, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

Please add a map to show the community / ex-township boundaries. I have a video referencing Merritton and can't find it on Google maps.

I'm removing the map, as it is incorrect. Merriton only went as far north as Rockwood Avenue. Queenston Street, Lincoln Avenue and such were never within the Town of Merriton, and were Grantham Township before being annexed by St. Catharines in the 60s. Whoever made the map needs to update it so that the northern boundry of the town runs east-west along Rockwood Avenue. Snickerdo 17:32, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
