Merzbuta is a studio album by the Japanese noise musician, Merzbow. It continues Masami Akita's rhythmic noise experiments and samples from discs 48 to 50 from the Merzbox.

  • The inner cover contains the words "ANIMAL DOMINATION" and "KILL PEOPLE NOT PIGGIES" as well as links to PETA and the Merzbow website.
  • This release forms part of Masami Akita's "Merz" series released through Important Records. The Important Records website claims that it's the "third" such release while saying elsewhere that the third one is Merzbuddha.
