Mervyn Morris

Mervyn Eustace Morris (b. 1937, Kingston, Jamaica) is a poet and professor emeritus at the University of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica.

A Rhodes Scholar, Morris has taught at the University of the West Indies since the 1960s, has published several volumes of poetry, and has edited the works of other Caribbean writers.

He is the author of the poem Little Boy Crying, Family Pictures, Love Is, One, Two, Home, The Roaches, Critic, and Give T'anks.

Most of his poems allways, described a way to show the reader what is his feelings and all the stuff that has passed through in his life and that makes a big circumstance about his poems.
