From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Merrydown is a brand of cider currently manufactured in Belgium.[1] Originally brewed in Sussex, England by the Merrydown brewery, the cider (along with the brewery) was acquired in by SHS in 2005.[2][3] Prior to acquisition, sales of Merrydown cider accounted for 70% of the brewery's business.[4]
Merrydown is available in 1 litre glass bottles as well as 440ml cans and both 500ml and 275ml bottles.[citation needed]
The beverage is a strong cider (7.5% abv) available in silver (dry) and gold (sweet) variations.[citation needed] Both are free from artificial flavorings.[citation needed]
