Merrimack Pastoral Region

The Merrimack Pastoral Region is one of the five pastoral regions of the Archdiocese of Boston in the Roman Catholic Church. It covers the northern portion of Essex County and the northeastern portion of Middlesex County in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA. The current regional auxiliary bishop is the Most Rev. Emilio S. Allué, SDB, D.D. The region has 49 parishes, 1 college, 3 high schools, many elementary schools, 2 hospitals, and at least 4 cemeteries. The region is composed of 4 Vicariates.
