AMC also publishes several other news and information sites and print publications in the Caribbean, some of which will be unveiled over the next 18 months.
Andrews was born in Kingston, Jamaica in November 1982 to Sylvia Lynton and Noel Andrews, and grew up in the parish of St. Catherine.

Several months later in November of that same year, he took up his dream job at the century-plus old Gleaner Company Ltd, publisher of the daily flagship Gleaner where within two years he was promoted from trainee sports reporter to a full-fledged staff reporter, Lifestyle reporter and Youth Link magazine coordinator. He also worked for The Associated Press, international news agency and during his time at The Gleaner did several journalism courses including one at CARIMAC, UWI, Mona.
He is winner of the Press Association of Jamaica award for a human interest feature in 2001. The Youth Link magazine also won an award for best youth publication.
Andrews later moved to Montserrat to take up a position as sub-editor/reporter of weekly newspaper The Montserrat Reporter and continued to write for The Associated Press.
He moved to the British Virgin Islands on January 4, 2003 to take up a post as reporter for The BVI Standpoint where he was later promoted to sports coordinator.
