Merops

Merops may refer to several figures from Greek mythology:

  1. King of Ethiopia, husband of Clymene, stepfather of Phaethon, son of Helios.
  2. Of Miletus, father of Pandareus.
  3. King of Percote, had two sons who were killed at the Trojan War by Diomedes
  4. King of Cos, after the death of his wife, he grieved so hard Hera placed him among the stars.
