Merops

Merops may refer to several figures from Greek mythology:
- King of Ethiopia, husband of Clymene, stepfather of Phaethon, son of Helios.
- Of Miletus, father of Pandareus.
- King of Percote, had two sons who were killed at the Trojan War by Diomedes
- King of Cos, after the death of his wife, he grieved so hard Hera placed him among the stars.
Merops is also a genus of bee-eaters. See Merops (genus).
