Meridian Downtown Historic District is a historic District in Meridian, Mississippi, added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 16, 2007.[1]. The district runs from the railroad tracks north to 6th St between 18th Ave and 26th Ave, excluding Ragsdale Survey Block 71. The district is actually a combination of two older districts, Meridian Urban Center Historic District and Union Station Historic District. In 2005, Meridian's city council voted to combine these two districts into one large district.[2]
