Mercedes-Benz International School is situated in Pune, Maharastra, India.

The Mercedes-Benz International School offers the International Baccalaureate program. This program has three parts. The students from kindergarten to 5th grade are in the PYP section, the students from 6th to 10th grade are in the MYP section and the students in the 11th and 12th grade are in the DP section of this program.

There is a hostel provided at the school for both Male and Female students. At the hostel there are hostel parents who look after the children at all times. The school currently consists of 230 students. The director of the school is Mr. Thompson. The head of upper school is Mr.Brown, the head of PYP is Mrs. Glynn Bebb and the head of DP is Mrs.Nanda.

The school is a three hour journey along a modern expressway, from Mumbai, the Commercial capital of India . Located in Hinjawadi, a modern and fast developing InfoTech Park in Pune’s urban-rural belt, it commands all the facilities and amenities necessary for top class education anywhere in the world.

The climate of Pune benefits from its altitude and is pleasant throughout the year. A rapidly developing industrial city with a high representation of multinational corporations, there is a growing expatriate community that benefits from our presence. As an educational hub for tertiary education our location in Pune is also attractive to both Indian citizens as well as to Persons of Indian origin who wish for an international standard of education which at the same time celebrates the positive elements of the host country.

Our school is co-educational,has a richly diverse international community and a low student-teacher ratio. The essential spirit of the MBIS is to provide a supportive atmosphere which challenges students to excel.

MBIS offers a global and comprehensive programme that instills students with skills necessary for good, life-long work habits. We believe in education that stimulates intellectual curiosity, critical thinking and problem solving and allows students to be continually challenged at an appropriate level. The curriculum is structured in a way that enables students to become independent, well-balanced, active and caring members of society.

MBIS is fully authorized and evaluated by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) to offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme.

MBIS is accredited by the Council of International Schools.
