Mercat Nou (Barcelona Metro)

Mercat Nou is a station on line 1 of the Barcelona Metro. Built in 1926, it is one of the system's few open-air stations.
Formerly called Mercado Nuevo, the station has accesses on the Carrer de Riera de Tena and the Carrer dels Jocs Florals. The western accesses lead to only one platform each.
This station is currently closed indefinitely due to construction.
