I (Grandpafootsoldier) have uploaded this image, Merlins_shop.jpg, here. Though the picture is subject to copyright, I feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws for this page alone because:
- it is a low resolution copy of a film poster;
- it contributes to the article significantly;
- it does not limit the copyright owner's ability to sell copies of the film in any way;
- no free equivalent is available at this time
[edit] Licensing
This image is the cover of a videotape, DVD, Blu-ray Disc, etc. and the copyright for it is most likely owned by either the publisher of the video or the studio which produced the video in question. It is believed that the use of low-resolution images of video covers
qualifies as fair use under United States copyright law. Any other uses of this image, on Wikipedia or elsewhere, may be copyright infringement. See Wikipedia:Non-free content for more information. |
