Meola Glacier or Athasi-Balati glacier is the Himalayan glacier situated in the eastern part of Uttarakhand in the Pithoragarh district of India.Meola Glacier is located at the base of five peaks of Panchchuli in the Lassar Yankti valley.With Sona glacier it forms the famous Panchchuli glacier as mixed glacial system.One can reach here as glacial trek through Tawaghat-Bailing-Son--Duktu-Tidang.Sona glacier and Meola glacier serves the route to climb Panchchuli peaks from east direction.Sona glacier is situated north to Meola glacier.The snout of the Meola glacier is at one hour's trek along Duktu Nala from Duktu village.Snout of Meola is situated at an altitude of 3,600 m. This place also serves as BC for Panchchuli expeditions. Meola glacier is divided in to Lower and upper parts.
