Another editor coded out the praenomen information until s/he had access to Clayton's book. I corrected it because what's going on is that there are two numbering schemes for the Mentuhoteps: the one used here where Mentuhotep I (merely a nomarch of Thebes) is counted, and the one Clayton evidently uses, where our Mentuhotep II becomes "Mentuhotep I" because he was the first of that name to rule Egypt. The editor who had added the incorrect praenomen must have been confused by that discrepancy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.9.202.192 (talk) 04:10, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
