Mendocino Transit Authority

The Mendocino Transit Authority (MTA) is a public bus system that serves Ukiah, Mendocino Valley, and coastal regions of Mendocino County, California (an area north of the San Francisco Bay Area).

MTA operates several routes, most of which radiate from the main city of Ukiah.[citation needed] #7 Jitney goes to Mendocino College, Feedlot & Bush, Raleys, Grocery Outlet, Redwood Academy, Goodwill, Main & Standy Library, Safeway, Public Health Department, Greyhound, Airport and Plant & So Sale. #9 Ukiah goes to Mendocino College, Feedlot & Bush, Ukiah High School, Walnut Village, North Bush at Low Gap, Main & Standy Library, Pear Tree Center, Cesle Street, Yokayo Center, WalMart/ Food Marxx, Community Clinic, So Dora Stand & Laws Ave and Plant Road & S.O State. Other routes offer service to such areas as Willits, Fort Bragg, Laytonville, Mendocino, Redwood Valley, and even as far south as the City of Santa Rosa in Sonoma County.
