  • I offer a weak delete: 27,400 hits when I Google for Memepool blog, though the site seems truly trivial. ClockworkTroll 15:31, 2 Oct 2004 (UTC)

  • I say keep, but only just - judging from Daypop it's on quite a lot of blogrolls. It's also six years old, not bad for a weblog. However, it fails the Alexa_test quite badly [1], having dropped in rank to about 100,000, and not having been higher than 30,000 in the last two years (n.b. this would in fact be a high enough rank to justify inclusion if it were a web comic, for which the threshold is 200,000).   • Who are we to question google and alexa, the arbiters of our universe?
    • Oh, we should always question them. But we have to have the data in order to question it, right? --rbrwr±
      • Of course... I like wikipedia, but I'm just griping about the wikipedia editors' overuse of googling to decide whether or not something is wiki worthy (this kind of thing happens often here).
  • I vote keep as it is a notable website (one of the first blogs) and is still slowly ticking along. If the site ever goes silent for an extended period of time, then we can delete this entry.

  • Keep. Memepool's heyday has certain come and gone—indeed I no longer read it daily—but it's historically significant. If memory serves me correctly, Memepool played a major part in the rise of the "All your base" meme. Nohat 18:34, 7 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Looks like the site may have shut down. No updates for almost a month, and email bounces back. Shame. --Richardrj 15:53, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

Seems to be back up now, but only sporadic updates.
