IMDb profile

Memento Mori (여고괴담 II Yeogo goedam II) is a 1999 South Korean horror film. It is considered to be a loose sequel to the previous year's Whispering Corridors, and is also set in a girls high school, but they are otherwise unrelated. The film was one of the first Korean commercial films to depict lesbian characters, but was constrained both by prevailing Korean attitudes and the fact that it was aimed at teenagers. The Story's character is Yoo Shi EunLee Young-jin and Min Hyo shinPark Yeh-jin. They were in love, but Shi-Eun broke up with her. Hyo-Shin said that she could die for her to prove it, so after Shi-Eun left, she jumped from the roof and died. There is a diary that was owned and created by Hyo-Shin, this was being held by Min-ahKim Min-sun who reads the diary and knows what really happened to the two. As the story progresses strange occurrances are happening as the spirit of Hyo-Shin haunts the school. Hyo-Shin's spirit eventually locks in every student and havoc insues the school. In the end Shi-Eun tells Hyo-shin (as a ghost) that she never hated her while she was alive, but now hates her. After this is revealed, all the students are released as all doors are unlocked suddenly. The diary that was held by Shi Eun, is seen destroyed by the students' trampling while the chaos occurred. Another girl, Minah, who respected both Shi Eun and Hyo-shin (and read the diary), picks up the diary and tells Shi Eun that she is sorry for it being destroyed. Shi-Eun looks at her and says that is okay, as they can make a new one together (Shi-Eun and Min-ah).
