[edit] Picture
Please refrain from changing the image at the Shrine of the Bab, the image you are adding is from an awkward angle, which not only is not aesthetically pleasing, but distorts the view of the bulding, which is non encyclopaedic. -- Jeff3000 19:36, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Shrine of the Bab
Thanks for your additions to the page; they have bettered it considerably; however, citations are missing for your added comments. If multiple statements come from the same book, you can use one citation for the whole paragraph. Can you use the <ref> and {{cite book}} templates to cite your added material. If you need help you can look at other pages like the Baha'i Faith page to see how that is done, and you can also ask me. Regards, -- Jeff3000 02:12, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
- The Media bank images cannot be used as they are not completely free images as per Wikipedia's definition. Images have to be released under the GFDL or cc-by-sa licences to qualify as free. In cases where free images cannnot be found then images can be used under fair use but buildings that still exist cannot be used as fair-use in Wikipedia as per the fair use critera. If you have your own photos that you want to release under the GFDL or cc-by-sa licence (I would release under both (see Image:Ncci.JPG for an image that is released under both)) then you should upload the photos to commons.wikimedia.org and place them in the Shrine of the Bab category (see here). In my mind the current image is just fine (high-quality is not really an issue here, because everyone sees the image as 150px wide), but upload some pictures there and if there is a better one we can change it to that newer picture. Also remember to sign your comments on the talk pages with ~~~~ (it inserts your signature). Regards, -- Jeff3000 04:59, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image:IMG 3749.JPG listed for deletion
If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.
If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.
If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. Sherool (talk) 21:05, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
