[edit] Brāhmī script
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, you may not know that Wikipedia has a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia, as you did in Brāhmī script, makes it harder to read. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Among other things, the Manual of Style (WP:DATE) says that, except to maintain consistency within an article or by consensus, editors shouldn't change use of the CE/BCE convention to AD/BC or vice versa. —Largo Plazo (talk) 01:24, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
Sure man, that's what I was doing. The article had both styles. Looks like someone came in and put BCE in as there's a predated BC
- My mistake, sorry. Someone had been repeatedly changing them today and I think the automated reversion didn't do what I expected. I've just set the article back to the way it was before the other guy started his mass revision in this and one other article--with BCE and CE. —Largo Plazo (talk) 02:35, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
