Melly Bachorek is writer and actor, with a "day job" as a marketing professional with Carter & Burgess, an nationwide Architectural and Engineering firm. She writes and designs proposals, oversees public relations for the local office and acts as graphic designer. Recently transplanted to the Bay Area in Northern California, Melly (aka Mellissa) is from Chicago, though she has spent a good deal of time in Detroit, Miami and Las Vegas.

Melly has performed with Trainwreck Theatre, Second City and Route 151 Films in Chicago, and won a coveted role with Second City Las Vegas. In 2006 she wrote a pilot that has since been picked up by VH1 and will air sometime this year (2007). Recently, Melly was hired to write a film and is currently working on the screenplay. With a budget of $20 million, the film is scheduled to go into production at the end of 2007.
