EDUCATION


• Conservatorium of Maastricht with Boris Belkin, from September 2006 • Graduated at Postgraduate in Solo Performing at the Royal College of Music of London in 2006 with First Class and Distinction. • Graduated at the Batchelor in Music at the Royal College of Music of London in 2005 • Royal College of Music of London, from 2001 until 2006 with Dr. Felix Andrievsky • Conservatirio Superior de Musica “ Eduardo Martinez Torner” Oviedo (Spain), 1994-2000 with Amayak Durgaryan • Tchaikovsky Special Music School, Yerevan (Armenia), 1989-1993 with Professor Petros Haikazyan

In 1993 Miss Khachatryan was introduced in a double recital by the soloists of the “Moscow Virtuoses” in the Evaristo Valle Museum, Gijon (Spain) and on her career as a young performer started.


ORCHESTRAL EXPERIENCE


• She won in 2005 the String Scheme to play in the London Symphony Orchestra, in three programmes in 2006 with Bernard Haitink, Donald Runnicles and Sir Colin Davis. • Coo principal of 1st violins in the programme performed on the 8th of July in St Luke’s, London, under the leadership of Gordan Nikolitch, 2006 • Coo principal of 2nd violins in the Symphony Orchestra of Royal College of Music conducted by Bernard Haitink, 2004 • Coo principal of 2nd violins in the Russian Chamber Orchestra of London, 2003 • Coo principal of 2nd violins in the Sinfonietta of Royal College of Music, 2002 • Recording of a CD with the New European String Chamber Orchestra, 2002, London • New European String Chamber Orchestra conducted by Dimitry Sitkovetzky, 2002 • Russian Chamber Orchestra of London 2001-2005 • Leader of “Vetusta” Youth Orchestra in Oviedo (Spain), 1999-2001 • Coo leader of “Vetusta” Youth Orchestra in Oviedo, 1998-1999 • Chamber Orchestra of Gijon (Spain), 1997-1998

With the named orchestras she performed in the following concert halls: The Usher Hall in Edinburgh, St John`s Smith Square, Queen Elisabeth Hall, Royal Albert Hall, St Luke’s and The Barbican.

• She was fourth solo violin in the “ Metamorphose” by Strauss performing in St Luke’s under the leadership of Gordan Nikolitch, London, 2005 • Bach Concerto for two violins in the Cornwall Hall, London, 2006 • Founder of the Khachatryan Quartet, concerts in London and the Auditorium Principe Felipe (Spain), 2003 • Haydn Symphony Concertante with “ Vetusta”Orchestra, cellist Mikhail Milman, 2001 • Vivaldi Concerto for two violins in a minor with “Vetusta” Orchestra, 1999 • Trio and Quintet recital in Oviedo (Spain), 1998 • Vivaldi Concerto for four violins in b minor with Chamber Orchestra of Dijon (Spain), 1998 • Quartet Classes with Chilingiryan Quartet and the Kopelman Quartet
