Talk:Melrose, Massachusetts

I don't think there there should be an "Attractions" section to merely note the city's lack of attractions. I'll edit it eventually if I get no feedback. --DeanoNightRider 3 July 2005 18:07 (UTC)
- Having lived in Melrose for a spell during college, I can say that there was quite a bit going on. It seems like the "boring suburb" description must have been written by someone fitting into the typical "restless teen with a yearning to escape" niche that you can find in any non-urban environment. I don't mean to be mean when I say that, but that is what it seems like. I think that the section should be deleted.
You should have left the David Lynch reference... It was a nice joke to people familiar with the town.

- I didn't think it was that funny. As much as I like David Lynch and as much as the town has a striking similarity to the fictional town in Blue Velvet, it sounds too cynical and wise. You don't have much of an idea who is writing this stuff, and as such you have no idea in what light they meant to portray their comment. --anon

Melrose definetly borders Revere, MA over near rt 99 and Melrose Dodge, so stop taking it out!Grk1011 21:09, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
Yea he's right. Melrose, Saugus, Malden, and Revere all meet at one point over there. 72.93.196.229 22:52, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
