The molecular formula (if I count correctly) does not have the additonal "H" required. Likewise the PubChem 5281106 link has the same molecular structure as currently in the article. Whilst DrugBank suggests switch of -OH for =O groups two carbons across. Can someone help clarify which (?or both) is correct here. David Ruben Talk 23:02, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
They're likely tautomers. The FDA label shows the structure as 143.106.51.7 noted, so I'll update the structure accordingly. Fvasconcellos (t·c) 01:53, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

The article currently says, "Meloxicam significantly decreased symptoms of pain, function, and stiffness in patients ..."

What does it mean to have decreased function?

I propose to merge the contents of Metacam onto this article, Metacam is just the trade name for the drug for use in veterinary. There is a sizeable overlap between the two articles, and even some of the information is duplicated. -- dockingmantalk 17:20, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

I would wholeheartedly agree to a merger of this article with Meloxicam, since as has been stated there is sizeable overlap, simply needs listing as a brand name with base uses in veterinary medicine. Thor Malmjursson (talk) 11:39, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
