Why is there no information about Melina in 2008?? There could be much more written about her fued for WrestleMania and for Backlash. Also in 2007, there is nothing about her contribution to the Mr McMahon/Hornswoggle angle. As well as this, she is a Mexican-American wrestler - not American!

[edit] Paparazzi Theme

The upcoming Raw's greatest hits album features a song called "Paparazzi." I take it this is the name of her theme, as well as MNMs, as it has been advertised that her song would be released for the first time on it. [edit] Extreme Makover described wrong

It says Melina's Extreme Makeover is a "Springboard spinning 180 degrees facebuster", number 1, that is wrong, she doesnt run 180 degrees for Extreme Makeover, it looks like a bulldog, but she doesnt land on her butt, she lands on her stomach, the creators of SVR 08 animated Melinas move and now everyone can see that it isnt a hundered eighty degrees, so i guess we could change it to just Springboard Facebuster, cuz all she does is jump off the ropes (springboard) and give them a (facebuster), lol —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.74.9.8 (talk) 19:53, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

It is not necessary to have the Batista comment under Melina's personal life because 1) He didn't say he had a sexual relationship with Melina, he said he had a physical relationship with her - that's open to interpretation. 2) It hasn't been comfirmed by Melina 3) Its irrelevant to her wrestling career.

I disagree. It can be changed to say a physical relationship, since that is what the source says, but it does affect her personal life. She doesn't have to confirm it, as the information can say "Batista claims to have had..." It was in his book, which makes it public knowledge, and thus it is appropriate to include. The articles are not just about their wrestling career, but their overall life. Part of making Good Articles is having a comprehensive article that talks about all aspect of the person's life. Sorry but it just seems to be that Fr3nZi3 just wants to believe that Melina and Batista are not having any kind of relationship because he dosnt want to think of Melina like that. I am a native speaker of Spanish, and Perez does have an accent. There is no proof beyond the Spanish grammatical rules:

1. Here's a good tutorial site where you can see the acentuation rules in Spanish:[1]

Pérez falls under Grave, and because it does not end with a vowel, n, or s, it has to be acentuated.

But if Melina doesn't spell it with an accent, we can't say she's wrong. I think it's retarded that Adam Jones calls himself Pacman Jones, but I am not trying to get his article moved. I see that on her myspace, she has absoulutely NO comprehension of grammatical and ortographical rules, so you can't just assume that she prefers her name without the "`" on the E. It could be she just hates needing to type ALT+130, to make a é. Uh-huh, next time you see her in person be free to tell here she spells her own name wrong. It may bug you, but she does not use any accent in her name and it would be incorrect for us to put one in her name (I just got Lilian Garcia's article moved to the correct name after showing that she doesn't use one in her name either). Coverage, this is 99% about Melina the wrestler, just a scattered sentence here and there about her as a person or anything else, one of the GA criterias is "broad in its coverage", which she's got a hard time passing right now.

Sources - I'm not sure "ringbabes.com" is any kind of reliable source? to mean it reads like a fansite and nothing more.

Comment - It is one of her two official websites. Ringbabe.net is the original, and melina-perez.org is the new address. This line doesn’t read right to me "After becoming interested in wrestling, Melina entered the independent circuit before joining WWE in 2004" – general readability is an issue and the use of "Independent circuit" without any kind of explanation is confusing to a non fan. Now if it had mentioned the "independent pro wrestling circuit" it’d be alright – but right now it could be an electrical circuit for all anyone knows. It’s important to remember it’s not written for wrestling fans specifically.

And I’d honestly recommend that Kayfabe be used as little as possible since it’s a wrestling-centric term – terms like "storyline" and the likes are more easily understood, likening wrestling to TV or movies in that regard.

The MoS refers to films and television series', it says nothing about pay-per-views. Television shows and film names can be in italics but something like the 2005 Great American Bash is neither. To refer to a pay-per-view as a whole it can be in italics but to refer to a certain year in a pay-per-view can be considered "chapters of a longer work". I will bring this up at WPT:PW so we can get more opinions and if I am wrong about this, I will change the names to italics but if the consensus agrees, this note should be struck through. - Deep Shadow 18:19, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

Even still, the Great American Bash (GAB) as a whole would be the name of the show, but the GAB 2005 would be the episode title and episode names are not italicised. And while I am aware that in the article it is listed as the GAB and not the GAB 2005 (due to the event being in the 2005 section of this article and thus is redundant), it refers to the 2005 event as that is what is being discussed. However, the MoS does say that episodes and chapter titles should be in double quotation marks so, to compromise, would you be okay if pay-per-views were placed in those instead of italics? - Deep Shadow 20:23, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

"During this time, MNM was set to defend their Tag Title at Armageddon in a match against The Mexicools but before the event," – this seems totally independent to the main topic, the angle with Batista and should be removed since it’s just trivia.

Not done - I fixed the first part by removing the part about the Mexicools altogether, since that really has nothing to do with Melina herself. However, I left the part about Batista.
