From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In January 2001, the Chicago Sun-Times reported that Reynolds would work as the community development director of Salem Baptist Church in south-side Chicago and as a consultant for Jesse Jackson's Rainbow/PUSH Coalition, trying to decrease the number of young African-Americans going to prison.

Has this guy just become the latest talking point or something? His page keeps getting edited to bash other people/groups by association, such as Bill Clinton or the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition. Drjayphd 03:11, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
- The Mark Foley scandal has some partisan Democrats trying to brand the Republicans as "the party of underage sex scandals," so some partisan Republicans are responding by trying to cast the Democrats as "the party of underage sex scandals" (hence the edits to this article). It's just pointless partisan bickering and finger-pointing on both sides. I hope everyone can keep an eye out for edits like what you mention and clean them up so we can maintain accuracy and a neutral point of view.--Bibliophylax 16:52, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
Can someone please add these couple of related links to the article?

[edit] Citation needs to be checked
Ken Timmerman's book "Shakedown", which was published in 2002 (paperback in 2003) is cited as a reference for an event that took place after the book was published. (Mel Reynolds' unsuccessful bid to retake his House seat in 2004).
I have blanked the citation for the time being. Nizamarain 19:40, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
