Melvyn Morrow

Melvyn Morrow is an Australian playwright and English teacher.
He attended St Aloysius' College. He has taught at Stonyhurst College and recently retired from teaching English and being the Housemaster of Campion house, at Sydney's St Ignatius' College, Riverview, where he has taught playwright Nick Enright, author Gerard Windsor and politician Barnaby Joyce. His son, Julian Morrow, is a member of The Chaser team.
His two big breaks have been "Shout! The Legend of the Wild One" and "Dusty - The Original Pop Diva", both of which he co-wrote with John-Michael Howson and David Mitchell.
Several of his teaching colleagues mention that earlier in his life he wrote material for The Mavis Bramston Show, a famous Australia satirical comedy, the first of its kind in Australia.
