The band demoed 25 songs of which only 14 are set to make the final cut. This will be their first album for their new record label Ivy League Records since parting ways with EMI and Capitol Records. The word in Vinesland is that we're looking for a producer so we can start recording by the end of the year but as yet we have no date, no deal and no producer. What we do have is about 20 new songs that are ready to go. Can't wait |

The latest news about the album is a very short video clip on the official band website, in which the band members show up in a recording studio.
A Rolling Stone article[3] suggested that the album consisted of 14 songs, of which two were titled “True as the Night” and “Merry Go Round”. This was proven to be true with the official track listing release. The album was completed during the week of the 3rd - 10th of March, 2008.
The first single "He's a Rocker" is going to be released through iTunes on June 3 with two bonus tracks; however, the single was played at MTV Australia Awards (April 26) and has been getting airplay prior to its official release on various Australian radio stations; it has been put up on the band's MySpace page.
