Melodi Grand Prix 2008

For the Danish national final with the same name - see Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2008.
Melodi Grand Prix 2008 (shortened MGP 2008) is the television show in which the Norwegian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 is chosen.
There was 3 semi finals held, where televoting decided the top four songs. The top two of each semi goes to the final, and the songs who were placed 3rd and 4th go to the 'Second Chance' semi final.
The semi finals have been / is to be held:
- Semi Final 1 - January 11, Stavanger
- Semi Final 2 - January 18, Kongsvinger
- Semi Final 3 - January 25, Bodø
- Semi Final 4 (Second Chance round) - February 6, Oslo
- Final - February 9, Oslo
Per Sundnes is hosting all five shows.
